The Truth About Traffic Generator Programs - Part 1

If you're disappointed with your results in the search engines, then these programs promise they can boost your website rankings and traffic to new higher levels...

* I will add more programs to this list when I become aware of them.

Since these programs each promise you basically the same benefits of increased traffic, it would be helpful for us to see the difference in each of these programs. It's not easy to figure out and compare the features of these programs by reading the long sales letters used to sell them.

So from the letters, I will be extracting the features and plugging them into a comparison table. It will also list the guarantees, bonuses and prices.

Then I will invite anyone, including the promoters or programmers of these scripts to post their comments about their real life results after using these programs.

Change Made To Google Adsense Ad Increased Clickthrough Rate and Earnings

I've had Google Adsense Ads on most of my sites for over a year now. But it was only two months ago that my clickthrough rates and earnings improved dramatically...

Two sites received the biggest improvement. One of them was my Work at Home Business Opportunities Information and Resources Online site, and the other was the Website Owner World site.

Previously, I had skyscraper ads on the right column of each page. I removed these and replaced them with large rectangle ads placed near the top and center of each page instead.

Ad performance skyrocketed almost immediately!

Why not try repositioning your ads if you are not happy with the clickthrough rates or earnings you are having now? You could be pleasantly surprised with the results!

Neat Search Trick Boosts Income for Small Website

My websites could have made more money if I had figured out this trick sooner…

It’s natural to think that only large sites need a search box. But guess what? Even a single page website can benefit by having one.

You see, there are visitors who like to click on links to find what they are looking for on a site. Then there are the visitors who use the search box once they arrive. Which one of these behavior types are you?

If your site doesn’t have a search box, you are losing the sale from the people who like to use the search on a site. If they don’t see a search box on your site they will probably leave almost immediately and will not bother using your link navigation.

Now you might think that a small site does not have enough pages in it for a search to yield a decent size results page with links to different pages. And you are right about that.

So I figured, why not have a normal looking search box on the home page, but instead of searching for content on my own small site, program the search to create a keyword associate link to Amazon.com.

Now my site satisfies the search user crowd and I end up earning some affiliate commission as a bonus from visitors who would have left my site anyway.

In a future post, I will present the search code I used.

New Web Design and Internet Marketing Resource for Website Owners Makes Its Debut

Behind the comfort and safety of your computer screen, I invite you to follow my website building and marketing journey...

I will be posting my thoughts, ideas, experiences and projects. You are encouraged to leave your comments, ask questions and make suggestions. I will learn from you as much as you may learn from posts made by me and others.

I have been building my own websites since 1997. But, I am not a guru. If you sense this tone in my posts, I give you permission to whack the side of my head to remind me that I am only a humble student.

In future posts, I will tell you about the Internet marketing software and e-books which I have purchased and what I think of them.

I will share scripts (some I have written myself) that has either helped me build websites, get more traffic or earn more money.

If I discover new or interesting ideas for building websites and marketing them, I will post the links where you can learn more about them.

Now with this brief introduction out of the way, I would like to start by suggesting you read a few articles I have posted on my site WebsiteOwnerWorld.com, which will help you learn more about building websites and promoting them, online.
